Kathy J. De Bolt is currently assigned as the Deputy Director for Terrestrial and Identity, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Kathy De Bolt joined the United States Army in 1974 as an interrogator. She attended the German course at the Defense Language School, Monterey, California. After graduating from DLI, Kathy was stationed at the Eschwege Border Resident Office,165th MI Battalion, Eschwege, Germany where she served 4 years. She then moved on to be an interrogation instructor at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona and was named the first “Instructor of the Year” in 1981. Ms. DeBolt attended Officer Candidate School in 1982 and was commissioned as a U.S. Army second lieutenant in Feb 1983. Her military schools include the 7th Army NCO Academy, Defense Language Institute-German, Interrogation Basic Course, MI Officer Basic Course, Counterintelligence Officer Course, Military Intelligence Officer Advance Course, Combined Arms and Services Staff School, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Her previous assignments include: Platoon Leader, 3rd Infantry Division, Wurzburg, Germany, S2, 3/59 Hawk Battalion, Neubruecke, Germany, Force Deign Action Officer, Director Combat Develpoment, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, Director, Exploitation Division, Department of Human Intelligence, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, Company Commander, E Company, 309th MI Battalion, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, J2 Action Officer, JTF-6, El Paso, Texas, Deputy G2, 2d Infantry Division, Camp Red Cloud, Korea, Deputy Director Battle Command Battle Lab, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona, Director Language and Technology Division, Futures Directorate, Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. Kathy De Bolt has worked in future technologies since 1996. She developed the concept and material solution for the Biometric Automated Toolset, HIIDE and the Detainee Information Management System, all currently deployed in OIF/OEF.
