The opioid crisis affects millions of people across the country and the pace of addiction and death in some communities is staggering. The crisis has overwhelmed many rural hospital emergency departments, clinics and physician practices. The complexity of the crisis requires coordinated medical, legislative, behavioral, educational and legal changes. Learn how one rural health system, CHI St. Gabriel's Health in Little Falls, Minn., is working effectively with a small community to solve a big problem, and how their innovative program could serve as a model for other health systems grappling with opioid abuse, addiction and overdoses in their communities.
