Hawaii’s geographic isolation combined with the prominent presence of the U.S. defense and intelligence community provides an attractive target for cyber-attacks. Protecting these highly targeted assets and Hawaii’s homeland requires cooperation and collaboration among federal, state and local government agencies together with private and academic sectors to build and maintain a roust cybersecurity posture and cyber-savvy workforce. The panelists will share their experiences and thoughts on what it takes to protect the INDO PACOM region from the ever increasing cyber threats and attacks.
