Jeff Watkins currently serves as the Communications Director for the National Security Agency’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program. CSfC is part of NSA’s encryption solution strategy, which leverages current commercial technology and industry innovation to deliver secure cybersecurity solutions. Jeff graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland University College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management. During his 35-year career at NSA Mr. Watkins has developed and deployed numerous special purpose secure voice interfaces, provided information system security engineering support to the Combatant Commands/Military Services/Agencies, and managed the certification of cross domain solutions to meet Warfighters’ requirements. Jeff also served in the field as NSA’s Liaison to the Defense Information Systems Agency. Mr. Watkins was born, raised and currently resides in Maryland (yes, the crab cakes are that good). He and his wife Cindy have been married for 29 years. They are blessed with two daughters: Erika, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine; and Hannah, the world’s pre-eminent expert on all things Harry Potter (so it is claimed).
