The County of Cape May, like most employers, was faced with the challenge of providing a comprehensive yet cost-effective healthcare plan for its employees. In the midst of ever rising healthcare costs and the challenge of having to navigate a mandatory 2% budget cap, nine union contracts and the ACA, the County analyzed and made changes to every aspect of its policies, programs and plans. Representatives of the County will present the path they took to create a culture of health and wellness and, in turn, achieve millions of dollars in cost savings.
