In recent years, Latin America has become a hot-spot for the construction industry.  With this boom, the construction law market in that region has become more sophisticated from both the legal and technical standpoints.  With that in mind, this session will explore recent trends in the construction industry in Latin America, from the perspective of U.S. firms seeking to generate new business in that region. This diverse panel includes clients, attorneys, and technical experts with extensive experience in Latin American countries, who will explore issues such as the intricacies of the market, and the current construction arbitration environment in that region.  Based on their experiences, the panelists will also discuss the needs and wants of potential clients at the time of obtaining U.S. legal representation for their projects in Latin America and throughout the lifecycle of that representation, as well as the opportunities and challenges of doing business in this region.
