The National Infrastructure Protection Plan establishes public and private sector partnerships across 16 critical infrastructure sectors to increase the security and resilience of the nation's critical infrastructure. HHS leads the partnership with the Healthcare and Public Health Sector, working collaboratively to identify threats, share information, and take action to mitigate risks. This session will describe these partnership activities and how they help to increase the security of the Healthcare and Public Health Sector. It will also explore the Sector's current activities in cybersecurity and how these have been impacted by the the Cybersecurity Act of 2015 and the Healthcare Industry Cybersecurity Task Force Report to Congress.
