Mr. Ford is the Division Director for Research in the Office of Science and Technology at the National Institute of Justice.  He manages the Offices’ Science and Technology research portfolios and provides strategic science policy advice for the director and the U.S. Department of Justice.   Mr. Ford directs a wide range of science and technology programs, including biometrics, communications, information technology and sensor and surveillance. Prior to working for the DOJ Mr. Ford worked for the US Navy as a civilian, and several software companies developing and deploying solutions for the Public Safety and the Intelligence Community.  Mr. Ford received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Texas in Computer Science.
