As Vice President of Product Research and Food Safety at DMI, Tim leads National Dairy Council research programs at Universities to drive dairy innovation and sales on behalf of America’s dairy farmers. Tim also leads the food safety activities of the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, a very active group of food safety expert volunteers from dairy companies and co-ops. Tim has 25 years of food R&D experience with leadership roles at Kraft, Sara Lee, and Hillshire Brands. Tim is active in IFT leadership, is a Certified Food Scientist, and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
