Mark Piehl, MD, MPH, is a pediatric intensivist at WakeMed in Raleigh, N.C., where he’s served as Medical Director of WakeMed Children's Hospital and is actively involved in leadership of WakeMed's Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team. He has clinical faculty appointments in the departments of pediatrics at the University of North Carolina and Duke University. He also serves as Chief Medical Officer of 410 Medical, a company he founded to improve resuscitation in shock and sepsis.
