Western Area Power Administration
Ken is a retired safety and security specialist in Western’s Rocky Mountain Region. Ken received the Distinguished Service to Safety Award from the National Safety Council in 2009. Known for his personable teaching style and expertise on a variety of safety topics, he has spoken at conferences and to organizations, and has taught hundreds of co-workers, Boy Scouts, emergency responders and home health caregivers the proper use of First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defibrillators. Ken is very active with the National Safety Councils Utilities Division and is a member of the National Safety Council's Educaiton Strategic Advisory Group.Ken and his wife Kathy resides in Montrose, Colorado and enjoys, camping, fishing, riding ATVs, and he is an avid big game hunter. Hi is a certified umpire and travels the Rocky Mountain Region umpiring games.
