Jama Boden is currently employed as an Agri-Science and Title 1 Reading Intervention teacher at Edgewater Public School. This is her twenty fifth year of teaching in public schools. She has worked with exceptional needs students for a majority of her career. Ms. Boden is especially interested finding creative and innovative ways to motivate students to strive to meet their potential. She plans, designs, and implements STEM activities for exceptional needs students and agri-science students that targets lessons and activities that have real life applications. Examples of these lessons include building and designing vertical planters, shelters for animals housed on our campus, composting, and student operated business projects. Ms. Boden strives to incorporate technology into teaching foundational agricultural principals. Her students use iPads to create presentations to demonstrate their knowledge of concepts taught.
