Dr. Bjørn Melve working with polymers and composites in Statoil ASA. He has been with Statoil since 1991 and has worked with most aspects of usage of polymers in Statoil. The current work area covers composite risers and pipes, thermal insulation of pipelines, flexible pipes and downhole polymer materials. He has been active in standardization work regarding polymers and elastomers.
