Mr. Harte is the Riser Engineering Manager at Wood Group Kenny and has 14 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. In this time, Mr. Harte has developed considerable experience and expertise in the design and analysis of steel, flexibles and hybrid riser systems. Mr. Harte has particular expertise in flexible risers having drafted the revised API RP 17B/ISO 13628-11 “Recommended Practice for Flexible Pipe” which was released in 2014. Mr. Harte’s general project experience includes design, verification, installation and operations/integrity management of flexible risers, steel risers and umbilicals for deepwater floating production systems. He has an understanding of the challenges associated with risers from both project experience and working closely with operators and manufacturers. He has also been the author or co-author of several papers for Wood Group Kenny at internationally recognised conferences, including OTC.
