Ramon holds a Master of Science degree in Offshore Engineering from the Delft University of Technology The Netherlands. After graduating at Shell Research he joined Heerema as a naval architect. Ramon held various positions within HMC. As HMCs Riser Engineering Manager for the BP Angola’s PSVM project he led a team of industry professionals (package engineers, material specialists, analysts) who ensured that the technical integrity of the riser systems was maintained from detailed design through procurement, fabrication and offshore installation. After a 2 year stint outside of Heerema, working as a PM on an S-lay pipeline EPIC for TOTAL Ramon re-joined HMC. Currently Ramon is the General Manager in HMCs London Office.
