Mr. Halpin serves as the Global Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Manager for DOF Subsea USA, Inc. He is a marine scientist, inventor and geophysicist with 15 years of experience in marine robotics, offshore survey, and oil and gas field development. Sean joined DOF Subsea in 2013 and is responsible for spearheading strategic planning and product development for AUVs and other advanced subsea technologies. Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Maine. He presently serves on the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Maritime Advisory Committee, frequently serves on unmanned robotics industry panels, is a code contributor to open source Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) autopilots, and is an author of numerous publications.
