Dave is the founder of Conspectus, the construction industry’s premier independent specifications consulting firm. He has been writing specifications since 1978 and as an independent specifier for more than 25 years. Dave focuses on developing methods to improve construction documentation and communications among the owner, design, and construction teams. Currently he is developing new software to provide a collaborative, transparent method to document owner project requirements, system and assembly performance, construction specifications, and facility operations criteria, all in a single, unified application designed to eliminate data gaps created by traditional methods.
