Engr. Eid Mousa Al Mutari received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Kuwait University, Kuwait. Since 2006, he has been working as Superintendent in the Instrument Maintenance Department (IMD) at Al-Zour South Power Station. During his tenure as an IMD Superintendent, he is leading the team of 50 Engineers and more than 250 Technicians for maintenance and trouble shooting of Instrumentation and Control System of 8X1150 T/H Boilers, 8X 300MW Steam Turbine, 16 Distillers and Gas Turbine of 4 X 25 MW, 8X150 MW and 5X180 MW of various manufactures such Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Siemens, Alstom etc. He started his career as an Instrumentation and Control Maintenance Engineer in Distillation Plant and worked with various control system and field instruments. His interest includes mainly the upgrade of old control system and field instruments with a focus on plant efficiency and reducing the down time and spare parts, evaluating the performances of staffs, coordination with other departments, implementing on-site modification to boost the power and water production for cost efficiency.
