Mark Zimora brings over 25 years of executive and operational leadership experience uniquely spanning both the public and family-owned propane and petroleum business. Mark got his start with AmeriGas working his way up the ranks until 1996 when he joined what at the time was a relatively unknown company called Blue Rhino. Mark, along with the Blue Rhino founder, grew the company into what has now become one of the most recognized brand names in the propane industry. Upon the $340,000,000 divestiture of Blue Rhino to Ferrellgas, Mark joined family-owned Paraco Gas to be their Executive Vice President of Operations. In 2008 Mark became the Chief Operating Officer for Thompson Gas and help lead the company through an expansion program into nine southeastern US states. Currently, Mark is the Vice President for Energy Distribution Partners. EDP is an acquisition minded company uniquely designed in its personal and flexible approach. Mark is an active industry participant with memberships in NPGA, Young Gassers, PERC, NYPGA, PGANE, and PAPGA.
