Erin Smith is a NYC-based consultant specializing in restaurants and consumer packaged goods with a focus on gluten-free. Erin has a broad range of experience in social media marketing, gluten-free brand management, consumer experiences, gluten-free ingredient sourcing, restaurant protocols for the gluten-free customer. Living with celiac disease since 1981 and eating gluten-free long before it was “trendy”, Erin has a unique perspective of growing up in the gluten-free community. Erin an organizer of the NYC Celiac Disease Meetup group, a community of more than 2,500 gluten-free members, the founder of the Santa Cruz Celiac Support Group, and an advocate for the celiac disease community. Erin is the founder of Gluten-Free Globetrotter®, an online resource that provides information about eating gluten-free and traveling with dietary restrictions across the globe. Erin currently resides in New York City and lives 100% gluten-free.
