Tim Taylor
Consultant



Mr. Taylor is Managing Director of Electric Distribution Academy. He has over 30 years of consulting experience in electric distribution systems. Mr. Taylor has performed projects for many major utilities and distribution organizations in the US, Latin America, and Europe, as an electrical engineer and consultant, and has a working knowledge of different distribution system practices in those regions. Mr. Taylor has written papers and magazine articles for IEEE, CIRED, ABB Review, Public Utilities Fortnightly, and many other publications, and has presented multiple times at IEEE meetings, DistribuTech conferences, and other industry events. His focus area is grid modernization, and how utilities can cost-effectively plan, build, and operate a modern grid utilizing cost-effective technologies and work practices.
