Having a detailed and accurate electric model is critical to operate real-time systems. Traditional as-built GIS systems were never meant to contain all of the data needed to produce complex network models for operational systems such as ADMS, OMS or SCADA. The concept of network model management was introduced to produce the foundation for this operational model and now has evolved to include the injection of real time data to produce digital twins. This session will feature three case studies that focus on the approach utilities have taken to model a single source of the truth for operational systems.
