George Fahey

Fahey is professor emeritus of animal sciences and nutritional sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has served on the faculty since 1976 and has held research, teaching and administrative appointments. His research is in the area of comparative nutrition as applied to pet animals. Fahey has published nearly 400 books, book chapters and journal articles. He retired from the University in 2010 but continues to be involved in university activities and owns a consulting company that provides nutritional advice to the human and pet food industries.
