Native of Bethesda; Created Carrroll County Associate Medical Director position in 1993. Was 1st EMS fellow in MD, earning UMBC Masters in Emergency Health Services. Became Med Dir for native Montgomery County in 2001. In 2013, was in inaugural group of EMS sub-specialists and Fellows of the Academy of EMS (FAEMS). In 2017, became State Regional Medical Director for DC area.
