Tammy Bryant MED, CALT has been a highly motivated educator for the last 25 years. Mrs. Bryant has earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and her Masters of Education in Administration through Texas A&M Commerce. She has been trained as a Certified Academic Language Therapist by Southern Methodist University and trained in the Take Flight dyslexia program through Texas Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas. In addition, she is certified as a special education teacher, an ESL teacher, and an administrator. She is an active member of the Academic Language Therapist Association, currently, serves on the Bookshare advisory board, and is a constant advocate for students with learning differences. Her experience with her own children and her lifelong work have provided her with lots of opportunities to use various types of assistive technology. She is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to help children with learning differences be successful. Her work with Bookshare and other forms of assistive technology have given her insight that she reveals in sharing with others.
