Mr. Clutter entered the United States Army in November 2001. His first duty assignment was to the 165th Military Intelligence Battalion, Darmstadt, Germany as a Counterintelligence Agent. In 2002, he deployed to Kosovo as part of a Counterintelligence Tactical HUMINT Team where he conducted counterintelligence force protection operations in support of the Kosovo Defense Campaign. In 2004, he was transferred to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where he assumed duties as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Fort Leavenworth Army Counterintelligence Field Office. There he was responsible for conducting counterintelligence investigations, operations, and collections to detect, exploit, or neutralize threats to U.S. interests. In 2006, Mr. Clutter separated from the armed services and as a Department of Defense contractor, deployed as a Biometric Collection Case Manager in support of Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force in Iraq. In 2008, Mr. Clutter arrived at U.S. Special Operations Command, where he was positioned as an Identity Intelligence Operations Officer within the Identity Intelligence Exploitation Cell. In 2010, he was promoted to the Identity Intelligence Exploitation Cell Chief, where he was focused on providing near-real time responses to Special Forces Operations (SOF) global biometrics, forensics and document and media collections supporting the full range of military operations. Currently, Mr. Clutter is responsible for SOF exploitation architecture development and SOF Identity Intelligence analysis education. Mr. Matthew Clutter graduated from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri in May 2000, with a double major in Criminal Justice and Spanish. He graduated from University of Phoenix in September 2015 with a Master’s in Business Administration. He currently resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife Beth. They have three children, Ella(6), Ava(3), & Alex(2).
