Murray’s Cheese
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, Daniel leads Culinary Development and New Business for the Kroger Co., and oversees Murray’s Cheese New York operations. Since joining Kroger, Daniel has led the Deli and Bakery team, designed and opened a Culinary Innovation Center for fresh product development, training and education, and recently introduced the company’s first restaurant concept, Kitchen 1883. Prior to Kroger, Daniel worked for H-E-B and Central Market in Texas for 25 years, where he managed store design, procurement, international sourcing, product development, and merchandising. Daniel was born in Switzerland, where he attended the Swiss Hotel Management School, which specializes in hospitality education across different sectors, including restaurants. Daniel is a member of Slow Food USA and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. He and his wife Arla live in Greater Cincinnati.
