Dr. McCurry is a 2021 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh where she received her doctorate degree in occupational therapy. Lexy currently works at Piedmont Columbus in the acute care setting as an occupational therapist. She plays a critical role in evaluating patients for their durable medical equipment needs and providing recommendations for a safe discharge. As an occupational therapist, Lexy focuses on maximizing an individual’s independence and improving their overall quality of life. She utilizes her skills to obtain a good understanding of an individual’s abilities, environment, and function where she can then make recommendations for a successful rehabilitation process. Lexy plays an integral role in the health care setting and improving patient clinical outcomes.
