Rose Schafhauser is the President and Owner of Association Management LLC located in Duluth, Minnesota. Rose serves as the Executive Director of the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services - MAMES. Rose also serves as the Executive Director of the Southwest Medical Equipment Suppliers Association - SWMESA. Her company provides the administrative support and services for the Jurisdiction A Council, the Region B Council, the Jurisdiction C Council and the National Supplier Clearinghouse Advisory Committee - NSCAC. Rose also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) and is currently the Chair of the AAHomecare State Leaders Council. She also serves on the Advisory panel for the People for Quality Care (PFQC).Rose brings over 30 years of experience in the HME/DME arena. Rose began her career with Medicare as a Medicare Claims Processor and Beneficiary Customer Service. She moved into the HME/DME industry in the reimbursement arena as a biller and than as a Billing Supervisor and Branch Manager at a growing HME/DME company in Minnesota. Rose continued to grow her career in HME/DME and eventually took the General Manager reigns of a $17 million dollar, four location HME/DME company. In 1999 Rose formed Association Management, LLC and began her career in association manage-ment. As the Executive Director of MAMES and SWMESA Rose continues to strive to grow and protect the associations she represents and protect the companies and beneficiaries of the HME/DME industry. Rose attended Winona State University, Winona, Minnesota. Rose is married and works with her husband Jim and they have two grown daughters and three grandchildren.
