Magbè Savané is the Founder, CEO of Makomas food and beverage company featuring organic teas and juices made from African superfoods like Baobab and Moringa. She is passionate about using the best sustainably grown organic ingredients sourced by women farmers in Burkina Faso and other regions of West Africa near her home country, Côte d’Ivoire. Magbè Savané’s recent award of $75,000 at the 2018 MassChallenge sponsored by Pepsico propelled her woman-owned company into a stand-out success story in the crowded, male-dominated beverage category. Magbè's is driven by her tireless commitment to producing refreshing juices and teas with no added sugar, artificial colors or flavors while supporting West African women farmers through Makomas Foundation to providing work, stability and hope. Magbè Savané lives in the Greater Boston area with her husband and two sons.
