Maria Campbell, CEC, MBA is an engaging speaker with over 10 years experience lecturing in culinary education at AiPH and The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in the Philadelphia area. As a food industry business coach for over 4 years, presently with One Degree Hospitality as a Team Productivity Specialist, she is well aware of the biggest issues facing the food industry - burnout culture, the rampant stress-induced dependence on drugs and alcohol, as well as the strain on personal relationships. Seeking solutions for the many problems that run rampant in the industry that she loves, Maria & her husband Scott, who is also a chef, founded Cooks Who Care, a community-minded food industry group. The goal of this Philadelphia-based organization is to develop a supportive network of forward-thinking F&B leaders with a goal to improve cultural norms within the industry, foster healthy lifestyles, and provide community resources to build career longevity. Cooks Who Care has produced more than 90 episodes on their Cooks Who Care YouTube Channel and is launching a new wellness benefit program in the Spring 2019 focusing on 4 categories: Food, Fitness, Stress Relief, & Finance. The CWC Working Wellness Program will launch at the same time. This unique initiative will offer incentives from 100 establishments in the Philadelphia area that employers can purchase for their staff members to encourage healthier habits & lifestyles.
