I’ve been a farmer in the Hudson Valley since 2004, and Co-founded Hudson Valley Harvest (hv-harvest.com) in 2011. In both capacities I’ve worked extensively with restaurant buyers and Chefs. I understand their concerns, frustrations, and the joy local food can bring them. From my experiences selling directly when I was farming full-time, and for the last seven years representing over 70 regional farms servicing hundreds of customers throughout NY, NJ, CT & MA, I’d love to discuss the supply and logistic challenges that face both the Chef and the Farmer.
