Walsh Gallegos Treviño Russo & Kyle PC
Eric G. Rodriguez grew up in the Rio Grande Valley, attending school in both La Villa and Edcouch-Elsa districts. His parents, both teachers, served a combined 70 years in public education. Their dedication to students motivated Eric to become a school lawyer. Eric’s current practice focuses on the representation of school districts in the area of special education and disabilities litigation. He also provides guidance and legal training for school administrators and officials at workshops and conferences to ensure that education professionals are updated on trends in school law. While in law school, Eric represented abused and neglected children as a student attorney in the Children's Rights Clinic. Upon graduation from law school, he served as an advisor to a U.S. Congressman, then represented indigent clients as an attorney for a non-profit legal aid organization.
