Melinda Jacobs is the founder and owner of the Law Office of Melinda Jacobs, PLLC, a boutique law firm representing school agencies in general and special education matters. Melinda has devoted her entire legal career to field of special education law, previously serving as an attorney with the Tennessee Department of Education's Division of Special Education, as Associate Publisher for LRP Publications, and has been in private practice in Tennessee since 1996. Melinda is a sought-after national, state, and local speaker, combining her legal knowledge with humor and song to bring legal issues to life. She has provided hundreds of on-site presentations to educators nationwide. Melinda has had the honor of serving as Chairperson of LRP's National Institute since 1993.
