Dan Lee has more than 20 years of working experience with 18 years focusing on the design, analysis and management of subsea system, most notably on risers and pipelines. He has been involved in many manifold, riser and pipeline projects with experience in concept select, Pre-FEED, FEED and detailed engineering. He was involved in many novel riser concepts, development and design, namely: SLOR (Single Line Offset Riser), GSLOR (Grouped Single Line Offset Riser) and HERT (Hybrid Exchangeable Riser Tower) when he was working for design companies and installation contractors. He was the Pipeline Team Leader for Chevron (Perth) when working in Perth, Australia for the Gorgon Expansion Project, dealing with all aspects of pipeline design. He is currently with Heerema Marine Contractors UK Ltd. as the Engineering Manager leading the Engineering Critical Assessment (ECA) for the Ichthys project, and as the ECA Technical Authority for the Kaombo project.
