Rune Ramberg is Statoil’s Subsea Chief Engineer. He has worked for Statoil since 1997, and has been involved in research, early phase development, project execution and field operations. He has been closely involved in all of Statoil’s subsea processing projects and is responsible for the technical quality of subsea production and processing systems. In 2007 Rune moved to Houston with the responsibility to build up the technology strategy for Gulf of Mexico. Rune also headed up Statoil’s technology collaboration with Chevron. He took on the Chief Engineer role on his return to Norway in 2013.
