Mr. Mao has over 10 years of experience in design and analysis of deep water drilling and production top tensioned riser (TTR), steel catenary riser (SCR), and pipeline/ flowline for Spar, TLP, and FPSO. Design and analysis of riser system for six EPC projects, three FEED projects, and numerous studies and proposals. He also has expertise knowledge of riser global and component design and analysis. Development and application of riser design and analysis procedures, techniques and tools. Design and analysis of offshore pipelines and subsea jumpers. Some of Mr. Mao’s experience includes: Talisman CRD TTR FEED analysis lead, Statoil Snorre C TTR Pre-FEED Lead, BP Mad Dog AWS TTR CVA lead, Chevron Big Foot CVA lead, BP Mad Dog II design competition Production and Drilling TTRs, BP Tubular Bells & Kodiak (pre-FEED) Pull Tube & SCR Design, Chevron Lucapa Pre-FEED Project SCR, Chevron Big Foot ETLP Production TTR, Petrobras Papa Terra TLP TTRs Analysis, Petrobras Cascade and Chinook Free-Standing Hybrid Risers (FSHR), BP XHPHT Spar TTRs Design Study, ATP Mirage Truss Spar FEED TTRs Analysis, Shell Perdido Spar TTRs, Murphy Front Runner Spar TTRs Design, Murphy Medusa Spar TTRs Design.
