After working for a number of Consulting Engineers, Andrew Newport joined SBM Offshore in 1992 as a Senior Structural Engineer. He has since worked in a variety of roles in both Engineering and Operations, and is now Technology Director in SBM’s Monaco Office. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, an MA in Industrial Design, and a PhD in Offshore Engineering, and is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
