Richard has forty years experience in the industry which includes the design of floating drilling and production platforms, station keeping and riser systems, deepwater technology development, arctic structures, field development planning and manager of topsides, marine, riser and subsea engineering services. He has lead, participated in or provided teams engaged in field development planning, concept selection and pre-FEEDs for over hundred deepwater developments in every major offshore producing region in the world. In his management role he has organically built two world class deepwater engineering services companies at Aker Engineering Inc. and KBR/Granherne consisting of topside, marine, riser, subsea, pipeline, flow assurance and field development planning disciplines.
