South Korea has a plan for the development of a large-scale offshore wind farm with a total capacity of 2.5 GW through three phases (proof phase, trial phase and expanded phase). Since the impact of the physical environment changes and human commercial activities due to the offshore wind farm can be significant over a long period of time, data collecting and scientific analysis are needed through long-term monitoring for various influencing factors. The objectives of this study are to collect data during the period of previous, under construction and operation of the offshore wind farm. Using the collected data, we analyze the physical, biological, chemical and social impacts and then provide appropriate methods for environmental monitoring and safety analysis for human commercial activities. This study has started from year 2017 and received the fund from the Korean government
