Business and Workforce Development efforts continue to expand across the NECA-IBEW footprint. This session will provide an overview of winning programs, strategies and illustrate how business development and workforce development are related and illustrate how business development and workforce development are related and most successful when implemented together. Mir Mustafa, Executive Director of Business Development for NECA National and Jennifer Mefford, Director of Business Development with Southeastern Michigan LMCC will share what they see that's working and how attendees can return home wiht an implementation plan. Traditional, digital and social media tactics will be explored with a recent case study for organizing and utilizing geo-fencing in the City of Detroit for workforce development.
