The World Health Organization has launched a global strategy for Women's, Children's, and Adolescents' Health (2016-2030}, which 'envisions a world in which every woman, child and adolescent in every setting realizes their rights to physical and mental health and well-being, has social and economic opportunities, and is able to participate fully in shaping prosperous and sustainable societies.' Evidence for chiropractic care in these special populations are on an increase, enabling chiropractors to have a vital role in this vision. This presentation will prepare you to share what doctors of chiropractic have to offer and how we can be a key part of this strategy (now and in the future}. Highlights include research findings from: 1} the largest prospective safety evaluation of chiropractic care for the pediatric population; 2} a systematic review of manual therapy use for pain and disability among pregnant and post-partum patients; and 2} a systematic review of manual therapy use for the pediatric population.
