Dr. Katherine (Katie) Pohlman is Parker’s Clinical Research Scientist with a specialty in research methodology, as well as safety and effectiveness research for special populations including pediatrics, pregnant/post-partum/women’s health, and chronic pain patients. As an inaugural CARL (Chiropractic Academy for Research Leadership) fellow, she is recognized as a promising young investigator for the chiropractic profession and has the opportunity to collaborate with leading scientists around the globe. She has been active in scientific publishing since 2009, serves as a peer-reviewer for several journals and conferences, and on the editorial board for 4 chiropractic journals. Her passion for rigorous methodology and innovative study designs have been recognized through her PhD graduate program at the University of Alberta with several awards including an Educational Fellowship through NCMIC, Inc. and the Graduate Studentship Grant through the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute.
