We are all accustomed to hearing about research targeted to eagle interactions with wind energy and their implications for siting and permitting. Are there lessons we can learn from more basic biological research about eagles? In this panel, we will discuss some results of recent research on basic aspects of eagle biology that may impact the way you think about your projects. You can be sure regulators are following this research so why shouldn’t we? The panel moderator will synthesize the implications of these findings for siting and environmental compliance at wind projects.
