Dr. Smith is a broadly trained ornithologist and wildlife ecologist, with particular expertise in raptor biology, ecology, and conservation. He has worked with raptors for more than 30 years. He conducts and coordinates a variety of raptor research projects, surveys, and monitoring and evaluates the impacts of various projects, including renewable energy projects, on raptors.
