Addressing MusculoSkeletal Injuries Through Bionomics (Room Viceroy)

We’ve all been there. Despite an EHS department’s best efforts to engineer solutions and develop creative training to address awkward ergonomics challenges that technician’s deal with every day, muscoskeletal inuries (MSIs) still occur.  In this session you will hear from the field as a panel of technicians share their experience and solutions to this perplexing issue. Dr. James Clapper will then explain how Bionomics can be applied to ergonomic challenges that simply can’t be designed out of the work environment.     Learn about the latest science and research as it relates to soft-tissue injury, see examples of safe vs at-risk behavior, participate in eye-opening demonstrations of effective injury prevention techniques, and walk away with practical and easily implemented information.
