Jim Barfield is the Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety for Duke Energy Renewables headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Jim received his B.S. in Environmental Science from Thomas Edison State University and his graduate studies in Environmental Health from East Carolina University. Jim is a Certified Safety Professional and ISO 14001 auditor. He has diverse background as a general practitioner in environmental, health and safety spanning from the U.S. Army in the 1990’s to manufacturing and at present with Duke Energy.
