LCOE and Improving Performance: Evaluating Solutions in a Post-PTC Environment (Room Upper Grande Hall)

With an estimated 100GW of installed capacity projected by the close of 2020, we  are entering a new era in the US wind market where projects will be competing without federal goverment incentives.  The resulting drive to lower the cost of energy and increase production from wind projects has brought a significant number of innovative products and solutions to the market both direct from the OEM as well as a third-party providers.  Understanding which of these products and solutions can be the most impactful to your portfolio or project can be daunting to say the least and diminishing returns can be an unanticipated risk to a project’s financial health.  This session will explore the current landscape of technological solutions to lower LCOE and touch upon the anticipated future advancements that may be game changers.  A framework for evaluating which solutions are the most significant drivers in lowering LCOE and improving project performance will be discussed by industry leading experts.
