The main power transformer is the most expensive single piece of equipment in your substation, along with being a single point of failure for the entire site, and the high voltage bushings of the transformer are widely considered the most at risk piece of the main power transformer. In this session we will discuss common bushing types used in the industry along with common failure modes plaguing the industry today. We will then move to cover electrical testing techniques commonly used today, along with online monitoring methods, diagnostics and analysis.
