Stress Inoculation in a Politically Correct Fire Service

In today’s fire service there has been a cultural shift; which is not always a bad thing. This program was created to show how training can be high intensity and “stressful” while not engaging the students in a demeaning or personal manner. This course will show parallels with live mayday transmissions and simulated training evolutions. Students will discuss and highlight, through interactive facilitated discussion, the similarities in the audio clips. Most importantly, the students will learn what stress is, how it is created, and how to train to combat the physical and emotional battle known as stress.
